Is there still a federal tax credit for EV chargers?
No. The federal charger credit ended for chargers placed in service after June 30, 2026.
Does my utility offer a charger rebate?
Many do, including Xcel Energy and several Minnesota and Wisconsin co-ops. Programs change, so we confirm the current offer for your address.
What is an EV rate?
Some utilities charge less for power used overnight or on a separate meter. Your charger can be scheduled to charge only during those hours.
Can businesses still get help?
Some utilities offer make-ready programs that cover part of the wiring for workplace and public chargers. We help you apply.
