Installer went out of business?

Many solar companies have closed or gone through bankruptcy in recent years, leaving owners with no one to call. We take over service for those systems: diagnostics, repairs, monitoring and help with manufacturer warranty claims, which may still apply.

Questions

Solar repair questions

Do you repair solar panels you did not install?

Yes. Most of our repair calls are for systems another company installed, including companies that went out of business.

How much does solar panel repair cost?

It depends on what failed. We diagnose the problem first and give you a price before any repair work.

My solar company went out of business. Is my warranty gone?

Not always. The installer's workmanship warranty usually ends with the company, but panel and inverter warranties come from the manufacturer and often still apply. We help you file the claim.

Can you replace my inverter?

Yes. We replace failed string inverters and microinverters, and we can recommend an upgrade if your model is discontinued.

Do you service SunPower systems?

Yes. SunPower filed for bankruptcy in 2024, and we service SunPower systems across our service area.

Do I need to remove my panels for a new roof?

Yes, the panels have to come off. See our solar panel removal and reinstall service.
