Tesla Powerwall, Wall Connector and Powershare

Powerwall and Wall Connector documents

Wolf River Electric is a Tesla Energy Certified Installer. Here are the Tesla documents homeowners, businesses and inspectors ask us for most.

Powerwall 3 in Midwest winters

Powerwall 3 is rated to operate outdoors from -20°C to 50°C (-4°F to 122°F). Heat Mode warms the battery cells so Powerwall can keep charging and discharging as temperatures drop. The Heat Mode white paper below explains how it works.

Resource library questions

Are these documents free to download?

Yes. Every file on this page is free to download with no form. If you want help reading a spec sheet or choosing a size, ask us below.

Which generator size do I need?

It depends on what you want to run during an outage. We do a load calculation at your home and recommend a size from 10 kW for essentials up to 28 kW for most whole-home setups.

Will Powerwall 3 work in a Minnesota winter?

Powerwall 3 is rated for outdoor use down to -20°C (-4°F). Heat Mode warms the cells so it keeps working in the cold, though charging slows when the cells are very cold. The Heat Mode white paper above has the details.

Do you install the Universal Wall Connector?

Yes. We install Tesla Wall Connectors and other Level 2 chargers, handle the permit and inspection, and help with any utility rebate paperwork.

Do you service equipment you did not install?

Yes. We service standby generators, batteries and EV chargers whether or not we installed them.
