Who does the work
Installs are done by Wolf River Electric crews based in the states we serve, led by licensed electricians. We design the system, pull the permits, handle the utility paperwork, install, and service it afterward. You deal with one company from the first visit to the final inspection.
We install home solar, battery backup and Generac standby generators, plus commercial solar and electrical work. Read what customers say on our reviews page, or meet our team.
How to check any solar company, including us
- Look up the contractor's license on your state's license search (in Minnesota, the Department of Labor and Industry).
- Ask whether the installer is NABCEP certified.
- Read recent Google reviews and the Better Business Bureau profile, including how the company answers complaints.
- Get a written quote with the price, equipment, production estimate and warranties before you sign.
- Ask who will do the install: the company's own crews or a subcontractor.
- Be careful with anyone who says they are from your utility.
