I thought that when the solar will be connected, my electricity bill will drop signifficantly or simply cancel out, but my eletricity bill is still high. Hope it will improve in the following months. The installation looks good.Posted on Google

i was very impressed by the professionalism of their crews. they listened to my concerns and questions then handled them all accordingly. it was nice to watch the team work so well together. they cleaned up after them selves very well. they made sure i understood everything i wanted to understand. they allowed me to install my own wired connection instead of connecting wirelessly as they usually do. that was the icing for me due to how important that little item was. of coarse they connected it to their panel. i was and still am happy with my decision with going to wolf river. and now they also do the roofing part so its a one stop shop.Posted on Google
Jacob Anhalt2 September 2026I didn't even purchase anything from this company, but wanted to give a shout out to Landon! This guy called to offer their solar conversion program. I wasn't able to give him an answer that day and asked him to call back same time the next day. I got a call back at the exact same time, from the exact same person, with the exact same helpful energy. Give Landon a raise!Posted on Google
Brandon Bruss1 September 2026Wolf River Electric was very patient with me as I asked them to provide me with various rooftop configurations as well as ground mounted configurations that would meet my net zero electricity requirements before I committed to purchasing a solar system from them. Thanks to their patience and care in answering any questions I had, I decided to proceed with having them install a 20 panel, 2-array rooftop mounted solar system which they designed to meet my net zero requirements. I requested conduit on top of the roof to eliminate the need for penetrations through the roof (I know I’ll end up replacing my shingles someday) and Wolf River Electric accommodated that request for me. All of their conduit runs are neat and they made custom bends in the conduit to transition from the roof to the siding after going around and underneath the gable end overhang. They confirmed that their design takes into account shading from leaves on trees and the sun’s path throughout the year based on their satellite annual study results. In my case the local utility company allows net metering without the need for any batteries. The entire process including installation went seamlessly while I was at work. I didn’t need to worry about any permits or dealing with the local utility company either. Everything went as expected and I’m now enjoying the solar system. The tracking app that monitors the solar panels is very nice and it opens your eyes to the significant amount of electricity specific electric appliances like air conditioners and dehumidifiers really use compared to all other electric appliances which are barely noticeable. I would recommend Wolf River Electric to anyone! Thank you Wolf River Electric!+1Posted on Google
Juan Mendoza7 August 2026I had a great experience with Wolf Electric installing my solar panels. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. The team was professional, communicated well throughout the process, and the installation was completed without any issues. They answered all my questions and made the whole experience easy. I would definitely recommend Wolf Electric to anyone considering solar panels!Posted on Google

Ian Hulu31 July 2026Great detail heading into the installation. Explained everything during the process. Installation was easy and created no issues. At every step of the way, Wolf River was ready to answer my questions and let me know what next steps were. Getting our first electrical bill covered completely by solar power was a thrill! Would recommend this company for anyone interested in taking the jump!Posted on Google
Patrick Morgan8 July 2026We had a fantastic experience with Wolf River Electric. They stepped in and took over our project after our original solar company unexpectedly went bankrupt, and they made what could have been a very stressful situation incredibly smooth. From day one, their team was knowledgeable, responsive, and communicative. They took the time to answer all of our questions, kept us informed throughout the entire process, and made us feel confident that our project was in good hands. Looking back, I only wish we had chosen Wolf River Electric from the start. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, trustworthy, and customer-focused company.Posted on Google
Edmund Hurlebaus5 July 2026wanted to get solar up and running on my south facing roof contacted wolf river and got a quote in a week and the paperwork and installation within a month. i was surprised how fast the process on their end was. what felt like the slowest bit was waiting for excel energy to finally tell me i could switch it on. all told only took a month and a half from initial contact to getting the solar connected to the grid, which according to them was quite fast as excel is known for dragging their feet. only issue was that when i sent in my contact info to their office it got duplicated around and i was contacted by a few of their offices at the same time.Posted on Google
Paul Schuler29 June 2026I had a great experience with Wolf Electric. I thought there tech were knowledgeable in there trade. Project manager quick to respond to my questions, and keeping me informed of progress. I thought there work standards were very high.Posted on Google
Wayne Wood26 June 2026Enjoying my Wolf River Solar install. I am grid connected but use almost nothing from my utility. Solar + Battery storage is the way to go. Thanks John G for all your expertise!! Thanks to all Wolf River technical staff for the professional install.Posted on Google
Trevor Fosso25 June 2026Wolf River Electric took over our solar project after the initial company went out of business. They come in and made sure everything was done correctly and made any adjustments needed. They were great to work with, very good at communicating and letting us know when technicians would be coming over to work on the project. The technicians were great, very informative, and left our home clean and tidy. I would highly recommend them and would plan to use them for any future solar projects we may do.Posted on Google

Debbie Z14 May 2026Always kept me informed of status. Many times we did miss each other's calls but no problem. We both just kept calling. Lives are full! They helped add to mine. On a really good day I can export over 50kw to the grid. Recently looked into Wolf River adding two more Tesla batteries type 3. Looking for increased capacity to minimize our downtime. I enjoyed working with Wolf River. They never let me down! Thanks!Posted on Google
Andrew Lee11 May 2026Wolf River was great to work with. The process to get solar panels is kind of complex with many checks and moving parts. Wolf River kept each of those pieces in mind and put them all together. I had very little to worry about at all. I am so thankful for my great set up and how easy the process was.Posted on Google
Krista Feustel21 April 2026I recently had a solar panel system installed on my home, and overall the experience was very positive. The Wolf River team was professional and the communication was outstanding. They walked me through the setup and were very patient with my many questions or concerns along the way. Since installation, my energy bills have dropped significantly. Overall, I’m very satisfied with both the installation process and the system’s performance, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wolf River Electric to others.Posted on Google
Daron Heckmann21 April 2026Wolf River has done an excellent job with our solar installation. The team did great keeping the project on schedule and it is performing perfectly.Posted on Google

Pravin Pindoriya19 April 2026We had great experience with Wolf River Electric for our solar installation. The salesperson and project manager were very responsive on time as the project was moving forward so now our solar project is up and running. The only drawback with my solar system is that I don't see the consumption of power from solar system and electric company on Enphase App. I can see how much my solar systems is generating the power but I cannot see how much I am consuming from it and how much I am selling back to electric company. During initial phase of the project when I was interacting with a sales person, he send me some pictures and documents of the solar system saying that this is how my solar system would look like and warranties about the components, but after they finished the project I was wondering that why I am not able to see the consumption report on App so I called them and they said that I need to install consumption CTs devise in order to get the report for extra charges on it. I thought that it should be the part of the solar project than why pay extra to get the consumption report. So please ask them what would be included in your solar project so that you don't have to pay extra charges later on.Posted on Google
Dustin Blankenship17 April 2026Started my "solar process" in the summer of 2025. Got my system installed in November of 2025 and had it turned on in about a month. Have been impressed with everything Wolf River has done, since I was not an expert on it and now, I feel super relieved I did this. Tax rebate in hand too! Love the lack of electricity bill now. I would HIGHLY recommend Wolf River. From their original call to the hook up and the follow up, they have been professional and excellent to deal with! Work with them, you won't regret it!Posted on Google
Favio Soto15 April 2026Had a phone consultation around August of 2025. The panels were installed and I was up and running by end of December. Process was easy. I’m guessing they were busier than usual towards the end of the year as the tax credits were expiring otherwise I’m sure the project would’ve been completed sooner. 3 months and change with solar panels and everything works great.Posted on Google
Jeanine Corley12 April 2026We just finished our initial consultation with Wolf River Electric and decided to move forward with a solar installation. The Presentation: Clear and data-driven. They broke down the costs and long-term savings without making it feel like a high-pressure sales pitch. The Knowledge: Our representative was able to answer all our technical questions regarding equipment and the installation timeline. The Process: Signing up was seamless and well-organized. It’s a big decision, but they made us feel confident in the investment. Excited to get the panels on the roof!Posted on Google
Angelique McCormick11 April 2026Overall the experience was good. We got our solar panels installed, they work, and we look forward to saving money in the long run. As sometimes happens with working with contractors and subcontractors we did have some communication issues. I know it was the end of the year, winter, and all the holidays added to the stress but I feel like they could have been more communicative as a company.Posted on Google
Mark Joplin9 April 2026No problems at all. Very professional.Posted on Google
Thomas Wendt8 April 2026Just had my solar service with Wolf River Electric and turned on last month. Their customer service is terrific. I had a proposal a year or so ago, but had to have my roof replaced first. They followed up with me, sent a new, improved proposal and we are signed up! The solar will be sufficient to supply my entire house, including the EV charger in the garage! They even handled the financing and the lender gave me an incredible rate. The monthly cost is just about what I am currently paying of electric service, locked in forever. Very excited to "go solar." April 7, 2026 Update. It has been a year since my solar was installed by Wolf River Electric and it has been terrific. The entire summer and fall I barely had an electric bill and, most months, I was over producing. The one downside is that the slope of my roof is not that steep, so I had snow cover the panels for part of the winter until I could get up there and clear them off. That was a "lesson learned" and I know I have to be more attentive to snow build up. It has been a terrific investment.Posted on Google
laura hammerbeck1 April 2026Wolf River was an excellent company to work with. Answered all my questions during the process, on time with all appointments and left my yard in good shape. Post installation they were available for any issues. Enjoying the new panels!Posted on Google
Janet Hunt4 March 2026Very happy with their work. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable from the sales person, updates, installation, and final call.Posted on Google

Brant Gehrke27 February 2026I have always considered myself to be a bit of a Lone Wolf. I think it comes from my family being within the trades and a certain level of self reliance. That being said when I joined the wolf pack I found myself surrounded by experts who took my own lone wolf tendencies and elevated them to help make my project a complete success. Pros: Wolf rivers install was amazing, I ran into no code related issues or problems with the various reviews required for the project. All the permitting and paperwork was handled expertly and we finished the project in a timely manner. The Majority of the staff I worked with knew their stuff, and was constantly working for the completion of the project. The delivery crew in particular knocked it out of the park, being friendly, and working with us when we were dealing with a few other ongoing issues at the time. Additionally I want to call out the installers, as they were progressing were happy to update me each time I asked where the next steps were. Cons: I had a long delay in my project due to considerations from a third party, it would have been nice to have more regular contact during the delays to ensure the project was still progressing. During the date of the initial install half of the install crew did not make it to my job, and that delayed the completion of the work by some additional weeks. Conclusion: I would work with Wolf River again in the future, the project was completed successfully and I am a satisfied customer, issues and problems arise during all projects but a little more transparency when they occur would be welcome in the future. I for one am happy that I am no longer running alone as a Lone Wolf and have joined the Wolf Pack with Wolf River.Posted on Google
Beth Coehlo24 February 2026As a follow-up to our earlier review for Wolf River Electric, our installation was completed in December (the timeline was delayed during the review process with Xcel), and our panels are now online. Working with our project manager, Mark, was a very positive experience. He was communicative, professional, and kept us informed throughout the process. The installation crew was respectful of both our property and our time, which we truly appreciated. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the communication and responsiveness of the Wolf River Electric team. We would confidently recommend them to others considering solar installation.Posted on Google
Clint Konsella21 February 2026So far all is going good. Amber was very helpful on what to expect on the install and what to expect for soar production. Will post more as project continues. Second posting. Sadly Wolf River could not design a system that would work for me by contract end date. Tried to get me to sign new contract but with the hiccups had with the other contract had very little trust in what they could do for me anymore.Posted on Google
Wade Judge21 February 2026Overall experience was good, a few hiccups along the way, but overall a great team to work with. Seth was a great point personPosted on Google
Greg Kier20 February 2026Wolf River Electric went above and beyond to install solar panels with battery backup for our home. We found them to be professional, extremely hard working, friendly, and efficient. Great quality, great product.Posted on Google

Tracey Feldt7 January 2026Our experience with Wolf River was exceptional. Our sales professional, Thomas, was very knowledgeable and extremely patient. We weren't sure what we wanted or what our options would be. H walked us through our options and was understanding when we wanted to make changes. Our project manager, Chad, was just as amazing. Again very patient and knowledgeable. They ensured our unit was installed correctly and in the time frame that allowed us to use the soon expiring rebates. The team that came to install out system was above and beyond amazing. Our ground is very rocky. The crew worked extremely hard digging trenches to set everything up (we have a ground setup) We could not have asked for a better group of hard working, polite, respectful installers. The electrician was very helpful and explained everything we needed to know. If you are investigating solar panels for your home, we highly recommended you contact Wolf River.Posted on Google
Reid Bowers27 December 2025Wolf River Electric was able to meet our solar goals on a timeline that was reasonable and accommodated my busy schedule. Their staff was polite, attentive, informative, and responsive. Moreover when we decided we would need roofing done before the solar install their sister company Wolf River Construction was at the ready. In the end I feel we have a gotten a product worth what we paid for it. I love having a solar array and being an energy producer!+0Posted on Google
Justin Reynolds19 December 2025Had a great experience with Wolf River Electric. The install process was great and they got my panels installed before the tax credits ended at the end of the year.Posted on Google

Lynette Veches4 December 2025Our experience with Wolf River Electric, go solar was fantastic! From the initial presentation from Jacob Veches through communicating with Chloe the project manager and all the way up toThe crew Installing was super fantastic and they were on top of it as fast as they could possibly go during this time of year. They are very patient and helping you understand everything and get you through the process, pretty much holding your hand the whole way as it is an investment in your home and your energy. The installment crew was very kind and respectful and thorough and worked their butts off to get the job done all the way into Sunset. They cleaned up after themselves wonderfully and we're happy to Answer questions along the way and explain the next steps and how things usually go. They were really wonderful when they had to come into the home and we're super nice to my 2 little dogs. They were friendly and respectful to me and my house. We are so excited to get our Solar commissioned and up and running to experience energy Sustainably. They did the best placement that will produce the most energy for our home and we are very excited to experience the results over the next years to come. Thank you again Wolf River Electric!!!!+3Posted on Google
Chad Lockwood1 December 2025Rob did a great job explaining my customized solar solution. The Installation went fairly smooth, the system is up an running. Overall the Wolf river team did a great job and I look forward to seeing the power of the sun in going forward.Posted on Google
Greg Peterson11 November 2025The communication was a bit hit and miss in the beginning, but more than made up for when it really counted. The installers were professional and cleaned up after they completed the job. Our project manager did a great job keeping us in the loop as the install progressed. Highly recommend Wolf River and especially our project manager, Tawni.Posted on Google
Diana Thanghe10 November 2025We had a great experience with Wolf River. We got 54 solar panels installed on our Roof and we are so pleased with the service we received. Through out the majority of the process we were explained what was going to happen next and what was happening. It got a little confusing at the end of the process but there is a bit of paper back and forth paper work between Wolf River and the electric company that has to happen at the end of the project that is hard to understand because you don't see that process. Overall, we are very pleased with our solar system and Wolf River and would recommend them to anyone.Posted on Google
Terry Menge7 November 2025We've always turned down opportunities to look at Solar, until Wolf River Electric called us in June. Their knowledge, customer service, and expertise led us on a remarkable journey. It takes some time, but our Solar System is up and working flawlessly. Our sincere thanks to the team at Wolf River for an exceptional job! We enjoyed working with all of the departments and team members at Wolf River Electric and are looking forward to considerable savings on our electric bill!!Posted on Google
Andrea Doop31 October 2025My husband and I had Wolf River Electric install 34 solar panels on our home in Dayton, MN, and we’ve been so happy with the whole experience! We received three different bids before deciding to go with Wolf River, and we’re really glad we did. From start to finish, their team was great to work with — friendly, professional, and always willing to answer our questions. The installation went smoothly, the crew did a clean job, and everything looks fantastic. It’s been exciting to watch our system start producing power and know we made a good investment for the long run and investment in our home. We recommend Wolf River Electric to anyone considering solar — they made the process easy and delivered what they promised!Posted on Google
Cory Skold30 October 2025Would recommend for sure! We were on the fence about solar for a good bit, but with the federal subsidies ending this year we decided to go ahead before losing out on the rebate. I'd used energysage to compare quotes from pretty much every solar installer in the Twin Cities and I'm pleased with my choice of going with Wolf River. They were super responsive throughout the process and did a great job of outlining all of the benefits on the sate level as well as the early adopter program Xcel runs. After I got my quote they ran a cost estimate based on our energy usage and created a model of the whole system for me to look at. We even got an upgrade in panel capacity at no cost due to a manufacturer supply issue. The install happened pretty quickly and really every step of the process was transparent and up front and now I don't have an electric bill. If you're on the fence about going solar I can confidently say that Wolf River is worth looking into, even if you're not in the Twin Cities Metro, they serve a pretty wide area and they were great to work with.Posted on Google
Rakesh Agarwala23 October 2025Wolf River and Sam Abidi were very easy to work with and helped design a system to meet my needs. I strongly recommend themPosted on Google
Andrew Pierce22 October 2025Overall I would recommend Wolf River for your Solar project. They handle everything from design (which they go over with you), schematics, permitting, installation, and inspections with witness tests. They take the pressure off by doing all the leg work. As with any project, hiccups and issues arise. They are very good with handling them and keeping you informed on the progress. Peace of mind with the warranty is also nice. Thanks!Posted on Google
Brittney Hagensick21 October 2025Chris (my sales rep) was absolutely amazing! If I ever needed anything, she was there to assist. The installation team was phenomenal and some of the nicest guys I have met!Posted on Google
Samoeun Meas7 October 2025Excellent performance on solar panels installation on my roof. The installers know exactly what needs to be done and it was completed in a timely manner. As a home owner, I don’t have to worry anything about solar panels installations. They completed the job done right the first time without worrying. Plus, I also got my electric vehicle charger for free installation at no extra cost. I highly recommended Wolf River Electric company for your next solar panels installation. You’re the best company in the solar industry for home ownerships. I truly love my solar panels installed on my roof.Posted on Google
Tim Buer6 October 2025Up front pricing and very thorough assessment of the process and benefits of solar.Posted on Google
Kristen Tibben4 October 2025We previously purchased solar panels from Woolf River Electric and were so satisfied we reached out again to add additional panels. Thomas was very friendly and willing to work on several different scenarios with us to sort out which would work best. He shared ideas about how we could speed up the process to ensure that we completed our project in 2025 before the tax credits end. Great company to work with.Posted on Google

Chris Elsing24 September 2025I decided to check out Wolf River Electric Solar after reading some reviews. After a virtual presentation with Seth, which was pretty thorough and informative, we decided to go with them for our system. We are still fairly early in the process but have not seen or experienced any thing that gives me pause or second guesses. I’m looking forward to moving through the process with Seth keeping us updated all the way through. He has been great and very responsive to questions and updates.Posted on Google

Amanda Devine16 September 2025We have been in and out of the market for solar for the past few years and even had signed a contract with a company that went bankrupt. With all of our experiences, we’ve were looking for a company that we could trust to get the job done and that’s where Wolf River came in. Not only do we have friends who love their system but our sales rep was thorough and eased our anxieties. Excited to go solar!Posted on Google

Joe H14 September 2025I have been checking around, dipping my feet in the solar electrical systems for quite some time. I even had signed an agreement with one company about 5 years ago and they ended up cancelling on ME, they were not very organized and I'm glad it got cancelled now after checking with some other companies. Wolf River Electric has definitely impressed me and although I'm in the early stages of the agreement, I feel that they are very professional and organized, with excellent placing tools and the salesperson that met with me through Google Meet was excellent! She's answered every question and was very knowledgeable. I felt comfortable moving ahead and because I wanted to get in on the tax credits that are expiring soon I felt moving forward right away was the best plan. I'm excited to finally move ahead and have solar to replace most of my electricity instead of being locked into whatever the electric company charges me. Another thing I liked is that the solar panels they will be using are the very top quality Maxeon panels with a long warranty that exceeds what was available a few years ago. My system once paid off will pay for itself and be cheaper than the electric company in the long run. I can even go off the grid with a battery system later if I want to.Posted on Google
JoAnn Baldwin13 September 2025Very good experience with Wolf River! I understood everything as it was explained. Workers courteous, knowledgable, and pleasant. Hope everything shines for years to come!Posted on Google

When I received a call from Daniel from wolf River I was totally impressed with how professional the company actually is. Cohl R29 July 2025Just got my witness test done after the initial install. Panels are up and working great! I really enjoy the app showing panel production throughout the day. Installers were very professional and very knowledgeable, no complaints. Two people in particular I want to give credit to for their fantastic customer service: Tawni was exceptionally responsive through all of my questions after the contract agreement was sent. She got answers to any questions I had and made sure to follow up after appointments. I also want to give credit to Anthony during the sales portion. I ran you through the wringer of questions back-and-forth over a few months! But you never got frustrated, always had educating points for me to consider. So thank you very much for sticking with me and getting me set up. My intention for going solar is mostly in relation towards the future and what changes may come. I’m very glad I went with Wolf River Electric and look forward to all the benefits I’ll enjoy!Posted on Google

There are little nuances that made me happy Wolf River Electric provided our install. They do much more than solar too. Each person was respectful and quick to return a call. Wolf made the process easy. And around the install there were quite a few moving parts. Reach out, Wolf River will walk through the process and show how your home can become your own little power company. So glad we did this.Posted on Google

Bridget Ausmus6 July 2025This spring I had solar panels installed on my home. The whole team from Wolf River were fantastic to deal with from start to finish. The installation went smoothly, even with it being a chilly spring day. It's been interesting keeping up with the energy generated through the app and even "making" some money from the summer's over production of energy. Patrick Hager4 July 2025I had a problem initially with Wolf River support for my solar system, but after I brought my concern to their attention I was totally surprised by a great customer service call from one of the company's founders, in person! Justin resolved my issue, was very supportive and I came away with a completely positive feeling. It's not often a company goes the extra mile to make certain their product is as promised, but Justin making sure everything was made right gives me great satisfaction. Plus they're a home town company. After all this I can confidently recommend Wild River for your solar project!Posted on Google

Brett27 June 2025I’m very satisfied with wolf river electric. When I started this process I had to chose between them and blue raven solar. Wolf river by far had the better pitch. They were very professional and up front about everything. They made the process simple and easy to understand which helped me a lot since I was nervous at first. Now I’m glad I went with them and don’t regret it at all.Posted on Google

Haley Dohrmann26 June 2025We had a solar system installed by Wolf River on the roof of our home and I HIGHLY recommend using Wolf River. I was very nervous about this project because we have had some poor experience with home projects in the past. We spent hours vetting out 4 different companies for this project, some local and some regional or national, and Wolf River really stood out. They had the most competitive price AND the best materials. (Those two never happen together!) We worked with Gabe VanRiette. I would highly recommend requesting him if you choose to go with Wolf River. He was incredibly fast to respond and was very knowledgeable. Any question or concern we had along the way was quickly addressed. Our system is now up and running and everything went very smoothly. We even had a hiccup with a project manager change in the middle of the project, but saw little to no delay. 5 stars!Posted on Google
Angela Kay26 June 2025I am so happy I chose to go with Wolf River - they explained the process on the front end and the install was very professional - I also like that they house multiple services outside of solar - it is one of the biggest reasons I opted for this company - and I was supporting a MN company - wish I would have done it sooner!Posted on Google
DJ Brynteson25 June 2025Our experience with Wolf River Electric was absolutely outstanding. From the very beginning, Cale guided us through the process with clarity and confidence. Installation was handled seamlessly under the expert leadership of Tawni, and at no point did we feel out of the loop. Communication was consistent and proactive every step of the way. The most challenging part of the project—dealing with city permits and various regulations—was completely taken off our plate. Wolf River Electric managed it all flawlessly and made what could have been a stressful process incredibly smooth. We did have trenching done in our yard, and while that naturally creates a bit of a mess, their team handled it well. The entire project was well-organized, efficient, and completed with high standards. If you're considering solar, I highly recommend Wolf River Electric. They deliver on every promise and genuinely care about the customer experience.+0Posted on Google

Dave Hutsebaut19 June 2025Wolf River Electric made the whole process of installing solar panels from start to finish very clear, easy, and hands off. Great technical knowledge and good communication throughout the entire process as the project progressed through all the different steps of approval and installation. They took care of all the behind the scenes paperwork so we didn't have to worry about filling out a form incorrectly, etc. I would recommend them to anyone interested in getting solar panels in the future. EDIT 6/19/25- Disappointed with the solar panel monitoring app system that comes with the panels. Panels have been installed for less than a year and already they made several changes to the monitoring app including limiting its connectivity capabilities and now they want to charge a monthly/yearly subscription fee just to get the data from your panels. Called Wolf River and they said there is nothing they can do since its not their app. Proceed with caution and read the fine print.Posted on Google
Kevin Ansell18 June 2025I'm very happy with my interaction with WRE. They drew up a design to meet my needs: number of panels to offset my current usage and roof design to optimize energy creation. They took care of all of the permits, ordered materials, and scheduled installs. It was a pretty quick process to be able to own my energy.Posted on Google
Ryan Wolfe18 June 2025I first connected with Wolf River from a cold call. Normally I end those calls quickly and move on in life, but I was sort of interested in solar and had heard about Wolf River Electric from some of their marketing. The person on the call answered more of my initial questions than I would have expected and we set up a follow up zoom conference a couple days later. The next person I worked with (Hayden) was even better. He had already put time into customizing a plan for my house and helped explain the process and answer questions. Our install went extremely smoothly and Wolf River took care of all the hookup permissions and requirements. I loved our $30 utility bill last month compared with the much higher bill we used to have. If you're looking at solar, Wolf River is a great partner to help you get it done.Posted on Google

Chad Sclavi2 June 2025The very highest of recommendations and a big thank-you to the entire Wolf River Electric team. This was a big project and the entire team was thorough and communicative throughout the entire process. They set realistic expectations as to the difficulties of coordinating with our energy company. Wolf River Electric was quick to thoroughly remedy any concerns that arise in such a complex project. Specific people to call out: - Our project manager, Chad, was super thorough and timely throughout the process...and patient when I got behind ;) - Chris as our sales representative was fantastic steering us through all the departments, contacts, and financing side. - Dylan is the Michelangelo of conduit routing...seriously, amazing workmanship, we are so pleased with the result. And it is well worth noting that the Roofing Department of Wolf River Electric is an excellent resource; they helped with roof repairs during the solar install, and we are now using them for a separate roofing project on another property; our project manager Jay has been exceptional to work with. We are now reaping the very real financial benefits of going solar. This was an excellent investment!+2Posted on Google

It was a long process, but worth it. We started in January and started producing in April. Would do again!Posted on Google

Two months in and already the system produces enough to erase the electric portion of our bill and pay towards the gas side. In fact our last bill had a credit balance. I love watching the meter run backwards. The installation crew was professional and efficient. Did a great job leaving the area clean and put together before they left. David Boogerd22 April 2025Wolf River was great to work with. Very helpful in determining what we needed and returned messages promptly. When the day for the installation came they were prompt, efficient and courteous. The installation was very professional done. The inside work, connecting to the breaker box was as neat as the outside work. We are in a moderately small Iowa community with a municipal power company. No problems there with connecting with the grid, but we are only the fourth residence in town with a solar installation, so it was a learning experience for both them and us. The city inspector who came out several times was very interested in the installation. When he is no longer leasing maybe I can give him a referral.Posted on Google

He was very professional, responsive and helpful. He worked with the WRE teams to make sure the sizing was what I wanted within the budget and that it complied with the guidelines of the utility company to get the maximum cost savings. Later the project transitioned on to the project manager who worked with me to get everything scheduled. The installers were top notch and did fantastic job. They got the panels up in no time - it took them only a few hours to get the 20 panels up. The installation fixtures were place very neatly and they did a very good clean up. Very happy with the system. The system has been generating power to cover the home requirement and export to the grid. Graham Judd5 March 2025Wolf River did really good work for us! Our biggest issue was delays with xcel activating our panels. Our sales team and install team were wonderful fast and efficient. The only difficulty came when we had to involve xcel energy into the processes! John D21 January 2025From tip to tail…Wolf River was top notch. Fast to arrive on site to scheme up my array, quick to schedule install, and efficient at interfacing with my energy company (often a hiccup in the process). Each and every team member, from install crew, to electricians, to project manager and staff, was friendly, approachable and full of information. Emails and calls were returned in short order (minutes to hours max), and all were just good people. My install crew (in 15F weather) was happy and engaging. My electricians were savvy and professional. The project manager, Zac, was in constant communication. Zero delays in the process, and my array is functioning flawlessly in -15F weather. No way other companies could match this experience. (My cousin, who had used another company for his first array 2 years ago, was so impressed when they we at my place, that he hired Wolf River for more panels at his place…another perfect experience!). Can not recommend enough (other than their whole Vikings support…Go Pack Go!). :)+0Posted on Google

Renee Espeland17 January 2025So on one of the coldest days of the winter, I got solar panels. These guys were professional and courteous. They navigated a few little logistical problems with professionalism and ease. This has been all in all a very pleasant experience and I would highly recommend this company. The support staff in the office has been stellar. We had a family chimney sweep business for years and so I know a few things that go in to having a construction/service related business. We did not do half the job that Wolf Creek Electric has done. My hat is off to them.
